No More Flipping: OVEN BAKED PANCAKES
It was 7 degrees when we woke up and only chocolate and pancakes could fix that mood. ❄️
But I truly dislike standing in front of a hot skillet while watching and flipping pancakes. I am too impatient for that nonsense.
And when you’re cooking for a household or a brunch crowd it’s even worse. So, let’s not do that anymore, mkay?!
Here’s how to bake them instead!
🥞Grease a cookie sheet.
I probably don’t need to say this BUT the sheet must have a lip to keep the batter from falling off.
🥞Pour batter on the sheet
🥞Bake at 425/ 4-5 minutes
Check the center with a toothpick
🥞brush melted butter on the top, switch to BROIL on high, place on top rack, and WATCH (2-3 minutes). This is NOT the time to take a potty break.
🥞Once they brown and crisp up a bit, take them out, cut, and serve.
🥞Save extras in the fridge or freezer.
💥Batch cook these for other days!
