Our newest addition
We all have a laundry list of things we didn't plan on in 2020.
Lockdowns, toilet paper shortages, cancelled plans, home schooling, home working, not enough time with some people, too much time with others…. We are all just trying to stay afloat- to not go down with the ship! SAVE YOURSELVES, DO WHAT YOU MUST TO SURVIVE… WAIT!! I know… LET’S GET A PUPPY!
First of all, puppies are never a good idea. OK?
They just aren't. If you have ever had a puppy, you already know this. After getting Bruiser as a puppy (14 year ago), I swore I would never enter Puppy Prison again. NEVER EVER EVER NEVER EVER.
And yet, here we are.
So how- after swearing off puppies forever did we, yet again, end up with a puppy, you ask?
Because aside from being absolute nightmares with fur- THEY ARE STILL THE CUTEST SWEETEST MOST ADORABLE CREATIONS EVER MADE (and it was 100% necessary if we wanted our marriage to survive a year long quarantine together). Lol but for real…
So that’s the story. Meet Buster. We love him. He loves us and he actually wasn't a nightmare at all. He is obsessed with kisses, lots of walks that always turn into runs, meeting (and jumping on) new people, SNOW, and drinking out of any water source that is not his actual bowl. He can sit, lay down, and sprint faster than Scott. He will lose his mind over squirrels, vacuums, and motorcycles. He has the sweetest personality and we feel like we hit the jackpot (again) with this baby dog. After Bruiser, I wondered how we’d all do with another shih tzu so soon- but as it turns out he is just what we needed. He busted into our hearts and I know he will yours too.
